The princess bride: storming the castle card game has over the years since its inception generated great interest from players all over the world. The game was developed from the film titled ‘The Princess bride’.

The game revolves around a beautiful woman called Buttercup who lives in a country called florin. The beautiful lady takes delight in ordering the farm help by the name Westley around. Westley could humbly respond ‘as you wish’ to the beautiful lady’s demands. It does not take long for the lady to realize that Westley is in love with her and that his response to her demands is a sign of love.

Eventually, the beautiful lady admits her love for him too, Wesley realizing this sets fort to seek his fortune to enable him marry her. Unfortunately, Wesley is attacked by a dangerous pirate in the high seas; Roberts the dreaded pirate is known for his inhumane acts. He is said that he did not spear any of his victims.

After five agonizing years, Buttercup believing that her lover is dead, gets engaged to the heir of the throne of florin. Just before tying the knot which her new lover, Buttercup is kidnapped by three criminals named vizinni, Inigo Motonya and Fezzik the wrestler.

A pursuit for the kidnappers ensues; there are two groups in the trail. One group is that of the prince Humperdink heir of florin, while the other is a man in black. The man in black is believed to be Robert who is known for his merciless killings. The man in black goes ahead of the group headed by the prince and catches up with the kidnappers.

When he catches up with the trio, Inigo one of the kidnappers has a score to settle with a man who has six fingers in his right arm for killing his father is left in the hill to fight with the man in black. The two men fight long and hard but Inigo is defeated; he is knocked to the ground unconscious.

Fezzik the wrestler is then left behind to kill the man in black; he is a strong man and is likely to kill the man in black if he gets hold of him. Unfortunately, the man in black chokes the huge man until he passes out. The man in black then goes after Vizzini who is holding the beautiful lady hostage. He proposes a battle of wits where he succeeds in tricking the Vizzini to drink poison.

The black man then introduces himself as Roberts the dreaded pirate who murdered westley. A furious Buttercup pushes him to the gorge and yelled you can die too, the reply she got changed all she felt for that man. Falling in the grove, the man in black replied ‘as you wish’. On realizing that the man in black was westley, the man she loved, she dives into the gorge after him.

They both go through a rough experience with several rodents which he manages to defeat them but eventually captured by the prince’s men. He is taken to the torture chambers, while the lady goes with the prince.

The game is full of intrigues which makes it more interesting. It emerges that the prince had organized for Buttercup’s kidnapping so that he may blame another country and go to war with.
