The game of Trivial Pursuit has many variations to it and it keeps changing almost every year. On the 25th anniversary of the game a special edition of the game was released by Hasbro. The game comes in three levels such as easy, medium and hard.
There are more challenging questions, the more you answer the more you will move on the bonus track. This is not the only feature of the game. You are enabled to steal wedges from your opponent; you can move your opponents and even take their tokens.
There are 432 questions, 36 wedges, 6 holders for cards, 6 pawns etc.
Hasbro has also made a new Trivial Pursuit family edition which is basically for families who like playing this game. This game can be played at all family gatherings and also at parties.
There are kid’s questions which are separate from the other adult’s questions. There are 6 rounds of asking of questions which include questions about science, nature, places and people.
There is a new Trivial Pursuit Digital Choice which is also available. It is an electronic device which has 600 pre-loaded questions. You are also able to download about 1800 more questions. This can be used when you are travelling.
There is also another Trivial Pursuit DVD2 pop culture.
This is basically for Americans as it depicts the American culture in its questions. It is mostly based on television, movies, music and sports. Trivial Pursuit for Kids is also a game which is for kids only. The questions are very easy and some of the questions are brain cracking.
This is a good exercise for the kids playing the game. This includes a board, 200 questions, 24 wedges for scoring and 2 dice.
Trivial Pursuit for Kids: The Nickelodeon Edition is also available for children. This is more of an animated version for the children. It has about 1200 simple questions which are based on the shows of the channel which include Dore the Explorer, SpongeBob and Jimmy Neutron.
Trivial Pursuit Team game is also available for fans that are passionate about the game. This game is more fun and it is much faster than the other games. This game has given a totally different way to play the game where there are 6 questions of multiple choices, where you are given4 answers and 3 guesses.
The other set of questions is 6 guesses from 6 answers. There are true and false questions also in this game. This version of the game is regarded as a fun game.
The Trivial Pursuit Totally 80’s Edition is another version of the game and is the original version of the game. The questions are based on the 80’s and how much you can answer about the past events. Since the 80’s had big events there are a lot of questions based on that decade.
There are 2,400 questions to answer from and there are six different categories to answer from.
I-Pod has also come out with a game which you can purchase for your phone. There are 1,000 questions to answer from.
