The game of war is a commonly played card game that is commonly played amongst kids and also minors to a certain level as this game is extremely simple and easy to play. The game is based on the Anglo American card deck and this is a commonly played game at kid’s parties and so on.

The game was initially less favourable as the other types of card games were and still are much more popular to the game of war but as time passed by this game is more and more addictive to the children. So playing this game could possibly be the first step to the large world of other card games that are present.

The game is fairly easy and fun to play. The game starts off with the deck being evenly distributed to each player with each of the card being faced down. Now the player has to reveal a card each and this makes the player with the higher card take both the cards and put it at the bottom of his deck.

Now if the values of both the cards are equal then the players play 3 cards face down and followed by the fourth card face up and the final higher valued card amongst all of them makes the win by taking all the cards on the table. Thus the game is given the appropriate term war for this kind of game play.

Just in case the process of tie comes into play again the game is repeated and then yet again the game is made to be played until and unless a winner is emerged out of the entire scene. The final winner of the game is decided after all the cards are won by the individual. During the game of war if a player runs out of cards while dealing he or she may play the final card of his deck with his deck face up and this may allow the player to have a fighting chance to survive in the game?

Apart from this the various types of game play types of the game also have their own rules set. For instance
Multiplayer war is the game played with 3 or more and in this type of game play the game can result in the tie breaker moment only when the 2 of the highest cards are tied.

Automatic war is the game play in which the 2 card or the joker card causes the automatic war winner. Threes beat faces is a game played with the war card tactics in which only a 3 can win against any face card and looses the cards that can be higher than it.

Fours beat aces is another variation of the war game tactics in which only the four cards beats the ace and loses to the other cards that are higher than the 4 value. These are the rules to the game of war and the different types of game play.
